Project challenges

How can we make the rehabilitation process engaging and effective?

Due to limited access to users, the research plan for this project required a careful selection of methods to guarantee meaningful results. Therefore, the baseline for UX metrics was measured internally by conducting usability tests. At the same time, the most insightful results came from qualitative research among the registered users of the Customer Portal.

To identify key user groups and create corresponding user journeys that highlight weaknesses and uncover opportunities, the following research methods were employed:

Heuristic Evaluation
The audit of the portal accorting to NN group 10 Usability Heuristic.
Usability Testing (UT)
With 5+1 participants we performed a task based UT measuring User Effort (time-on-task), User Success (number of complete tasks) and User Satisfaction UX Metrics.
SUS & CSAT
50 users partisipated in the Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and System Usability Score (SUS) questionnaire.
Experts interviews
The account managers are the main persons in contact with the customers. Therefore was decides to run a multiple interviews to find out the customer challenges and expectations.
Although each research method provided valuable information, the survey conducted among the users of the Customer Portal proved to be the most insightful. The respondents of this survey contributed to the collection of both quantitative and qualitative insights. Furthermore, this enabled us to establish a baseline of UX metrics for future improvements.
